The price for processing apples in Washington state has continued to rise as the supply of apples grows shorter.  Total processing tonnage of apples in Washington are the lowest they have been in the past 5 years according to USDA. Pricing listed by USDA for juice and peeler apples are much higher than they have been in many years, and they continue to increase weekly as the supply runs short. High prices will likely continue for the remainder of the processing season.
